The Underside
I have never aspired to firm ground; I like exploring new environments. Submerging my reality upside-down is the photographic endeavor through which this underwater series saw the light.
Upon completing a photo session, I am not only happy when my images have a story to tell, but also when my subject has one to remember. These scenes are all captured in-situ, mostly upside-down, and often with water running up the nose. Sometimes a horse will resist immersion. Other times an iron will fall onto my head while demonstrating the pose. Each challenge makes the story unique and requires a solution that contributes in building the technique.
After eleven sessions in the pool, I am proud to present my series of images "The Underside"
